Mr Anirban Aditya’s concept and vision of Edu-Sports- combination of education and sports, has not only been accepted and praised by people around but also has caught everyone’s imagination. Edu-Sports is all set to revolutionize both education and sports in India. Aditya School of Sports (ASOS) maintains official tie-up with “Khelo India” and owns Bengal’s only privately owned stadium “Diego Maradona ASOS Cricket Stadium.” It has been named after The God of Football, to honour his legacy. This is also the only stadium that hosted Diego Maradona and had provided the space to Maradona to conduct his workshop and play a match, during his last visit to India. This year, Aditya School of Sports Residential Football Academy saw students from Pan Indian states and cities like Jammu, Goa, Manipur, Kerala, Orissa to name a few.

Aditya Academy has always laid emphasis on quality education through effective teacher student ratio. Through their online education platform, the well-trained and dedicated teachers can conduct live interactive classes, and create customized worksheets depending on the aptitude of the students. The online classes have been designed for pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten kids to provide overall development, prepare them for higher classes, and to keep them entertained throughout the online classes. The one is to one interaction with the students and parent mentor classes, will enable them to better get a grip on the areas where the student needs more brush up. Speaking on the issue Anirban Aditya said “Two things are paramount- first and foremost is the health and safety of our students. While we have to protect the school and it’s finances, we are committed to giving parents relief in every way possible. A synergy between the school and the parents is the best way out of this crisis and we are committed to doing everything we can to alleviate hardship while making sure our students continue to get the best education.”

Aditya Group of Schools have started online classes and are doing their best to provide support to its teachers and students. As the Group of Schools complete 25 years in the field of Education, adapting to the new age method of online teaching has been a smooth one.

In the session on Innovating Education & Educating Innovation Mr Avishek Mazumdar spoke on how sports can help students accept defeat and learn to fight back negating chances of depressive mindset. Aditya Academy Secondary School, Barasat & Aditya Academy, Senior Secondary, Dumdum were presented as case studies where in he highlighted that more than 250 students participated in CBSE Meets of which more than 50% won medals for the school and on the other hand we had more than 150 students securing 90% and above in last years CBSE Class X Board Exams. Sports is playing a major role in overall development of our students.

The most recent CSR activity under Bhaskar Aditya Foundation brought together the ASOS family together. The friendly football match played between the parents of ASOS and the ASOS officials not only helped in bonding but also made the week off a memorable one. Though the ASOS officials won the match, the parents won hearts. Mr. Anirban Aditya and Mr. Ankit Aditya, the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Aditya Group also participated in the match.
